Summer cereal bar (16 pieces)

And yet it's not a dessert, it's a healthy summer cereal bar for your morning or afternoon snack. Enjoy!


100 g oats 

80 g bran flakes 

8 dates (remove seeds) 

2 tablespoons raisins 

250 ml peanut butter 

1 teaspoon cinnamon 

2 teaspoons cocoa 

375 ml yogurt 2% fat 

1 large sliced banana 

100 g frozen berries 

How to make: 

1. In a small saucepan, heat up the berries with the chopped banana for a few minutes. 

2. Using a food processor, chop the bran flakes until broken into about the size of oats and place into a bowl. 

3. Using the food processor again, blend the dates with the raisins until finely cut. 

4. Mix the oats with the chopped bran flakes, dates, raisins, peanut butter, cinnamon and cocoa in the food processor for a few minutes. 

5. Spread a non-stick paper on a glassware container and press the mixture to create a base. 

6. Add the yoghurt and top it with the bananas and berries mixture. 

7. Freeze for 2 hours. 

8. Remove from the container and decorate with fresh strawberries and bananas if you want. 

9. Cut into 16 pieces. 

10. Can be kept in the fridge for a maximum of 2 days.
